Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter
Plot Synopsis: After the events of the third movie, Jason was left for dead. However, when it turns out he's still alive, he begins killing teenagers again. Jason also begins targeting the Jarvis family. Positives: The kills are easily the movie's primary highlight (or at least most of them are). A lot of them are nice and gruesome, something you would really want out of a slasher movie like this one. There is at least one kill that I think deserves the "so bad it's good" award. The intent was for it to be horrifying. Instead, it's just hilarious. Another thing I think really works in this movie's favor is the introduction of the character of Tommy Jarvis played by Corey Feldman. Jarvis is just a young boy, and that legitimately elevates the danger in my opinion. I can also appreciate that Crispin Glover is in this movie.
